How it works:

  • Complete the Paws Etc. Loyalty Card form in store or online and you will receive your loyalty card. If you apply online you will receive your card when you next visit one of the stores
  • Simply purchase any product in one of our stores and you will receive 5 points for every £1 spent. A total of 100 points will convert to £1 in your Paws Club account.
  • You can redeem your points against any purchase once you have a minimum balance of 200 points
  • *Points cannot be accrued against or redeemed for Spa treatments
  • Points cannot be used against any promotions or discounted items, unless specifically mentioned

The use of our Loyalty Card constitutes your acceptance of these terms and conditions, so please spend a couple of minutes to read through them.

  1. Becoming a Loyalty Card Member

(a) The Loyalty Card System is open only to UK residents aged 18 and over, following completion and acceptance of an application form.

(b) To become a member of the scheme, you’ll need to complete an application form in one of our stores or online.

(c) Paws Etc. reserves the right to refuse any application, or cancel an individual membership at any time at our absolute discretion.

(d) If at any time your contact details change, it is your responsibility to advise Paws Etc. by emailing

(e) Loyalty Cards are free, you will receive a card on completion and approval of your application in store.

  1. The Loyalty Card

(a) Your Card can be used at any of the Paws Etc. stores or Desborough Pets stores

(b) Your Card is not a credit, debit or cheque guarantee card.

(c) Cards are not transferable. This includes using the points to purchase as a gift card.

(d) Points are redeemable only when your Card is presented.

  1. Earning Loyalty Card Points

(a) You must present your Card at the time of purchase to qualify for any points.

(b) For every £1 spent, you will accrue 5 points.

(c) 100 point is the equivalent of £1 for redemption.

(d) Points have no cash value and cannot be redeemed for cash.

(e) Points can be earned every time a Loyalty Card is produced at point of purchase.

(f) Some elements of spend may be excluded from the System at the discretion of Paws Etc. / Desborough Pets, i.e. ‘Delivery charges’.

(h) There is no maximum credit that can be accrued on any 1 day.

(I) Points cannot be earned from Spa treatments

(J) Points cannot be earned from any promotions or discounted items 

  1. Redeeming Your Points

(a) Points can be redeemed any day of the week our stores are open.

(b) The redemption of points is subject to these Terms & Conditions.

(c) Points cannot be used in conjunction with any other offers or promotion unless otherwise stated.

(d) Points cannot be redeemed for Spa treatments

(e) There is no expiry date on your points.

(f) Paws Etc. cannot be held responsible for any lost or stolen cards.

(g) Paws Etc. may refuse to redeem points and/or authorise the issue of points if, in their reasonable opinion, it is considered that the Loyalty Scheme is being misused or if you are in breach of any of the terms of this Agreement.

(h) A maximum of £150 can be redeemed on any 1 day.

  1. Issuer’s Rights

(a) The Card is issued by and remains the property of Paws Etc. / Desborough Pets.

(b) Paws Etc. / Desborough Pets Ltd. reserves the right to withdraw the card at any time or refuse to replace the card. Any points balance on withdrawn cards will be lost.

(c) You must surrender the card to Paws Etc. / Desborough Pets upon request.

(d) If you do not use your card in any 6 month period, Paws Etc. reserves the right to cancel the card, with any points balance lost.

(e) Paws Etc. reserves the right to cancel this scheme on the provision of 30 days’ notice to all members.

  1. Cancelling a Card or Reporting it Lost or Stolen

(a) If your Card is lost or stolen, please obtain a replacement from Paws Etc. and ask us to transfer all your details and any points across to that new member card number. If you should find your missing card at a later date then please ensure it is destroyed to avoid confusion. There may be a charge of up to £5.00 for a replacement card at the company’s discretion.

  1. Data Protection

Personal data supplied by an applicant or a Cardholder will be held and processed by Paws Etc. to operate your account; to confirm, update and enhance our customer records; for statistical analysis; and to establish any Cardholder’s identity.

(b) Paws Etc. / Desborough Pets may use information about any applicant or Cardholder to send the applicant or Cardholder information about any promotions offered by Paws Etc. / Desborough Pets. For information on how we use the data we collect, please view our Privacy

  1. General

(a) These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by English Law and you submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts to settle any dispute arising out of or in connection with them, the Card or the System.

(c) Paws Etc. reserves the right to vary these Terms & Conditions at any time without written notice to applicants, Members or Cardholders.

(d) If Paws Etc. / Desborough Pets wish to withdraw the Loyalty System at any time then they may do so by writing to all applicants and cardholders and giving them 30 days’ notice of removing themselves from the scheme.

2.1        Through our stores and website we collect information about you when you sign up to our loyalty card or enter a promotion. Not all of the input fields are mandatory.

2.2        Where we send you information electronically, we do review whether the communication has been opened and whether you have clicked on links in the communication. This is because we want to make sure that our communications are useful for you.


3.1        We may use and process the information you have provided for the purposes outlined below as well as for any purposes specified at the time of collection:

  1. a) completion of the application process of your Loyalty card;
  2. b) to deal with your enquiry;
  3. c) to pursue our business interests to tailor our products so the content you see is relevant to you. For example, we may request your date of birth and some basic interests so that we can provide you with content that we think you will be interested in;
  4. d) to pursue our business interests to collect statistics, responses to any surveys and website traffic patterns;
  5. e) to send you important notices such as communications about changes to this Privacy Notice and any terms and conditions and policies of our Online Services.

3.2        If you consent, we may use your information to contact you via email and SMS marketing with news about our products and any other information we think may be of interest to you.

3.3        We may also pass on or allow access to your information:

  1. a) to third parties to deliver a service to you, such as processing a gift card or granting you access to WI-FI;
  2. b) to our suppliers where this is necessary for them to provide services and facilities to us, for example:

  4. d) to put your email and preference data in a marketing database that is used to send you email marketing;
  5. e) to collate the responses you have provided through our feedback forms with our survey providers;

4.1        We retain the information we collect for as long as necessary to provide the Online Services and any other products and services you have requested, or for other essential purposes such as complying with legal obligations, resolving disputes, and enforcing our agreements.


5         YOUR RIGHTS

5.1        When you use our Loyalty Service and provide us with your personal data you are agreeing that we may use your personal data for the purposes set out in this Privacy Notice.

5.2        You have the right to unsubscribe from receiving any marketing information which we send you.

5.3        If our processing of personal data is based on your consent, you have the right to withdraw consent for future processing at any time by contacting us. Please note however, that we may still be entitled to process your Personal Data if we have another legitimate reason (other than consent) for doing so;

5.4        You have the right to obtain information regarding the processing of your Personal Data and access to the Personal Data which we hold about you;
